yes. i hiked the pct back in '77. really, i hiked a lot of it but not all of it. it remains a fond memory. i even kept the old kelty i used although i've gone to an inner frame pack now. i actually don't backpack much anymore. i've acquired horses and have become a packer. one of those people whose animals leave those manure piles on the trail. funny, when you're on horseback, those piles don't mean much.
