The Unfortunates in 1977...
On September 14, Tom wrote (on behalf of himself, Joe, and Steve) in the PCT register at Stehekin: "We're here! That's all I can say. Having a great time & will arrive in Manning in 5 days. We had some nice weather thru Glacier Peak & really loved every step. Hiking in Washington is really nice. Almost don't want it to end. I never really thought about this trip ending it's been so long. Looking forward to Manning & celebrating with those Michigan Boys. Take care all."
